AMX International AMX

 

A light attack aircraft developed co-operatively by Italy and Brazil. Brazilian AMX are designated A-1 and replaced the AT-26 Xavante (MB-326). Italian AMX replaced G91 and F-104 Starfighters in the ground attack roles. Brazilian A-1s are fitted with the SCP-01 Scipio air intercept radar while Italian aircraft have a FLIR.
