Eurocopter BO 105

 

A well regarded helicopter originally developed by MBB of Germany, the BO 105 serves with a number of countries. The helicopter fills the observation, light utility and anti armour roles. First flying in 1967 the helicopter is powered by a pair of Allison 250-C18 turboshafts. The largest operator of the type is the German Army which employs it in the anti armour role with HOT missiles and on scout/reconnaissance missions.
